There are seasons that arrive with noise. They come with clear beginnings and obvious endings — with milestones, with markers, with language we can easily explain.
And then there are the other ones.
The ones that don’t announce themselves.
They don’t crash in. They don’t shatter anything. They simply settle — quietly — and before you realize it, you’re living inside them.
I’ve learned that some of the most shaping seasons of my life didn’t look dramatic from the outside. There were no headlines. No visible turning points. Just subtle shifts. Long stretches of waiting. A deep internal recalibration.
Not everything God grows in us is loud.
Some chapters are written slowly — in faith, in patience, in surrender. In the quiet choice to trust when there’s no visible movement. In the small disciplines no one applauds. In the daily decision to become softer instead of hardened.
Those seasons can feel disorienting.
You may find yourself asking:
Is something happening?
Am I behind?
Should this look different by now?
But what I’ve come to understand is this:
Becoming rarely feels dramatic while it’s happening.
It feels ordinary. It feels repetitive. It feels like showing up again when nothing looks different than yesterday.
And yet, underneath the surface, roots are deepening. Perspective shifts. Strength builds. Faith steadies.
In the waiting, something sacred forms.
This space — Moments Between — was created for those in-between chapters. For the seasons that don’t announce themselves. For the quiet recalibrations.
We won’t rush the ending.
We’ll sit in the middle.
Because sometimes the most meaningful parts of our story are not the big milestones — but the slow shaping in between.
And if you find yourself in a season that feels quiet… unseen… unresolved…
You’re not behind.
You’re becoming.
