It Was Time.

There wasn’t a dramatic moment. No big announcement. No lightning bolt of clarity.

Just a quiet knowing.

It was time.

For a long while, I felt like I was standing in between chapters. Not unhappy. Not ungrateful. Just… paused. Life was moving — children growing, routines steady, responsibilities handled — but I could tell something was shifting beneath the surface.

The part of me that loves to create had been waiting.

I think sometimes we wait for perfect conditions before we begin something new. More time. More certainty. More energy. But what I’ve learned is that clarity often comes after we move — not before.

Writing has always been where I return when I need to hear myself think. It’s where the noise settles and the deeper truths surface. It’s where I remember who I am outside of roles and expectations.

This space — Grace in the Waiting — was born from that quiet return.

From seasons of trusting when I didn’t have answers. From raising children through growth and change. From learning that grace often shows up in the ordinary, not the extraordinary.

Waiting isn’t wasted.

Sometimes it’s preparation. Sometimes it’s protection. Sometimes it’s becoming.

If you’re standing in an in-between place right now — unsure, reflective, sensing change but not seeing the full picture — I hope this space feels like permission to slow down.

To breathe. To notice. To trust that something is unfolding.

Not everything meaningful begins with fireworks.

Sometimes it just begins with a whisper.

And sometimes that whisper says, “It’s time.”
