This simple dressing has become one of my favorite healthier staples because it tastes rich and satisfying without feeling heavy. The Greek yogurt gives it a creamy texture while the Dijon, lemon, and garlic add just enough brightness and depth to make even simple meals feel fresh.
It’s the kind of dressing that works with almost everything — crisp romaine, grilled chicken, tuna bowls, roasted vegetables, or even as a dip for cucumbers and peppers.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vinegar (apple cider or white wine vinegar works well)
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1–2 teaspoons water to thin as needed
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a small bowl or mason jar.
- Whisk until smooth and creamy.
- Add water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.
- Taste and adjust salt, pepper, or lemon juice as desired.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Notes
- For a slightly sweeter flavor, add a tiny drizzle of honey.
- You can substitute plain dairy-free yogurt if needed.
- Add fresh dill or chives for a fresh herb version.
